The Hawkins Area Library is committed to providing a warm, friendly atmosphere where you will have access to everything from the newest releases of great books, to all of the latest technology.

Library Cards

Cards are free, fill out a short application form and provide a driver’s license or picture ID.

Interlibrary Loan

If we don’t have a book you are looking for, we will be happy to try to get it for you through the interlibrary loan system which has access to lending libraries throughout Wisconsin and across the United States.

Computers and Internet

There are 8 public computers and 5 laptops available for public use.

There is a 90 minute/day limit for Internet use, unless special arrangements are made. Printing from the computer costs 25 cents/page. You must have a current library card to use the Internet. Wireless Access available on site.

Copying and Faxing

We can help you with your printing needs, 10 cents/page for copies and faxes are $1.00/sheet.

Online Services

You can request a book from interlibrary loan, renew your books or movies, reserve a book and register for classes or events, just click the CONTACT US button.

Computer Classes

We try to provide computer classes as often as schedules allow, please watch our Calendar of Events for future classes.
